Jo and Jamie contacted me out of the blue to say they were getting married and would I like to be their wedding photographer? They had done their research and asked around friends and family, and my name had come up a few times.
The wedding package they purchased with me included a wedding pre-shoot which we did at the beautiful bay of Plemont, on the north coast of Jersey. The session which lasted about two hours was both fun and relaxed and it was great to get to know the couple.
Jo and Jamie chose a beach wedding which was a new one for me, but great for my portfolio! Jo got ready at Les Meilles Golf Club whilst the actual wedding took place on St Ouens Beach, in the west of the island. It was certainly a fabulous day for it, and after the ceremony, the reception took place in a field with a massive yurt which was all geared up for the wedding. A great barbecue with all the food done by friends and family, it was a fantastic spread!
The day went by very quickly and suddenly it was 9 o’clock at night and time for me to go. Jo and Jamie were so great to work with.
